Railway officials reported that the incident occurred at 6:26 AM on Tuesday.

The railways stated that trains have been rerouted, and movement has not been impacted. Senior officers, including the DRM of Alipurduar, have reached the site.
Officials said that restoration work is underway. The station has five lines, and train movement there will be restored soon.
