Woman's Dismembered Body Discovered Dumped In Jaipur's Kardhani Area

Jaipur: Early morning walkers on Niwaru link road near Mangalam City were shocked on Sunday when the body of a woman, approximately 35 years old, was discovered wrapped in a mattress at the roadside under the jurisdiction of Kardhani police station in Jaipur. The unidentified woman's face had been brutally damaged by the attackers. The police have filed a murder case and are exploring the potential of a sexual assault.

A police team, a K-9 unit, and officials from the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) quickly arrived at the scene.

Prima facie, it appears to be a case of murder. The body was transported and dumped at the spot. The victim was found without clothes and her face was smashed. A bag containing her clothes was also discovered near the body, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West) Amit Budhania stated.

The victim, who remains unidentified, is approximately 35 years old and has a tattoo with letters 'S J' on her right hand. She also had fresh henna on her left hand. Police are checking the CCTV footage from neighbouring areas but have not yet found any clues. Officials suspect that the woman was raped before being killed, as her body was found naked.

An officer at Kardhani police station mentioned that the investigating team is actively trying to identify the woman. They are examining all possible angles and await the results of the medical examination, postmortem, and other relevant reports.

Police also found tyre marks of a vehicle at the spot where the body was found, indicating that the body was likely transported and dumped early Sunday morning. The FSL team collected samples from the site, including the mattress the body was wrapped in, the bag containing the woman's clothing, and soil with tyre marks.
