About The Toll Rate Hike
The new toll tax for category cars traveling from Greater Noida to Agra will be increased from Rs 270 to Rs 295. The buses will see an increase from Rs 895 to Rs 935, and oversized vehicles will have to pay Rs 1835 instead of Rs 1760. This is the second toll rate hike, following a 12 percent increase in March 2022.

Why The Toll Hike?
Tolls would increase as part of efforts to manage the cost of maintaining the expressway, said the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority. Yamuna Expressway has reduced travel time from Delhi to Agra with 165 kilometers. New rates would thus enable improvement in the infrastructure of Yamuna Expressway.
