To celebrate their return, the hotel prepared a special cake in the colors of the Indian jersey. The breakfast spread included homemade truffles, assorted chocolate-coated nuts, and a variety of savory treats, welcoming the team after their 16-hour flight.
A three-tier cake was cut by skipper Rohit Sharma, stalwart Virat Kohli, and head coach Rahul Dravid before the team left to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to a report, custom snacks such as pistachio naan khatai, cinnamon sugar palmier, charoli and paprika cheese twists, and sundried tomato and amaranth pinwheels were available. Players' rooms were stocked with hand-rolled chocolate truffle rolls, edible chocolate balls, bats, wickets, and pitches.
The breakfast buffet featured locally sourced seasonal fruits like mangoes, jamun, and cherries. India captain Rohit Sharma was served Mumbai-style Vada pav, while Virat Kohli enjoyed Amritsari-style Chhole Bhature.
