Haunt For Babar Azam Continues! Out Of Top-10 ICC Test Rankings

ICC Test Rankings: After the conclusion of the Pakistan and Bangladesh series, the ICC has released the new rankings. One of the highlights of the rankings is that the Former Pakistan's captain Babar Azam slipped out of the top 10 in the ICC men's Test batting rankings.

After a series of poor outing, especially against Bangladesh, Babar drops out of the top 10 for the first time since December 2019 when he was ranked 13th.

Babar Azam's Lean Patch

In a series against Bangladesh, the former Pakistan skipper just managed to score just 64 runs across four innings. Babar's struggles in Test cricket have been evident for some time now.

He has not scored a century since December 2022 and has failed to register a single fifty in his last 16 innings in the red-ball format.

Does Babar Really Likes To Play Against Zimbabwe?

Whenever Babar Azam's name comes up, cricket fans often mistakenly associate it with Zimbabwe. Thanks to his numbers in ODIs and T20Is against the African country. Babar averages 114.75 in ODIs and 38.66 in T20Is. Babar last played against Zimbabwe in 2022.

England's sensational batter, Joe Root dominates the current rankings released by the ICC. He is still at the top position. His rating has increased to 922. Joe Root's all-time high ranking was 923. He achieved this rating in 2022. Now he is just one step away from achieving this position.
