IND Vs BAN 2nd Test: India won the game by a distance, almost improbably so, when one dares look back at how things were just 24 hours ago; yet rain and then a sodden outfield had resulted in nearly three days of the action being lost. The management had actually made a very bold decision to play aggressively and find out what was possible; they got their wish as they wrapped up this win, with over a session to spare, to seal the series 2-0 and get closer to the WTC final.

Home Dominance Continues

It was an easy victory for the Indian cricket team, yet again under the lights at home. They came all guns blazing as they tore into a confident Bangladesh side that had just won their first test against Pakistan. Batting was a splendorous show as they notched up multiple records for the fastest team totals at various stages of the match.

Indian Bowler's Brilliance

The bowlers did an impressive job, though. Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Ravindra Jadeja returned outstanding spells that skittled the Bangladesh batting on a pitch that was hardly demanding. And here's Akash Deep making a great impact with the opportunity given to him.

The Star Indian veteran Ravichandran Ashwin won the "Player of the Series" for his exemplary performance throughout this series and young dynamic opener Yashasvi Jaiswal won the "Player of the Match" for displaying his batting class.
