IND Vs BAN, 1st Test: Ravichandran Ashwin Shines Bright with Impressive Five-Wicket Haul
Ravichandran Ashwin, the legendary off-spinner of India never fails to impress as he struck once again on Day 4 and took a five wicket haul. He dismissed Shakib Al Hasan for 25. This was his 37th five wicket haul and this takes him on the second place with Shane Warne for the most fifers in the history of Test cricket.
He is now only behind Muttiah Muralitharan (67).
Earlier, Ravichandran Ashwin became the first ever Indian in the history to score 20-fifty plus score alongside 30-plus five wicket haul. In 147 year history of Test cricket he is the first ever cricketer to achieve the feat. He scored a magnificent century of 102 in 112 balls which included 10 fours and 2 sixes.
India won the series with Ashwin already bagging his 6th wicket to dismiss Taskin Ahmed at a mere score of 5.
