IND Vs BAN, 1st Test: Team India Registers Dominating Win By 280 Runs Over Bangladesh
Team India had already set a massive target of 515 runs, and on the Day 4 of first Test Ravichandran Ashwin came in as a nightmare for Bangladesh batters. He took 6 wickets and completely destroyed Bangladesh's batting lineup.
Skipper Najmul Hossain Shanto (51) and Shakib-Al Hasan (5) where batting when bad light disrupted the play on Day 3. This left them still in the need to chase a hefty target of 357 runs.
Throwing light on India's innings, the two stars were Shubman Gill (119) and Rishabh Pant (109) both off them scored centuries putting India in a very dominating position.
On Day 4, spinners completely dominated and Ravindra Jadeja wrapped up the innings for Bangladesh as he dismissed Hasan Mahmud helped India secure a 1-0 win.
Ravinchanran Ashwin added 6 wickets and a stellar century to his name. He registered his 37th five-wicket haul. He has now levelled with Shane Warne and is only behind Muthiah Muralidharan in the list of most five-wicket hauls.
Bangladesh were all out at 234, with only Najmul Hossain Shanto's knock of 82 runs as the highlight of their team.
