IND vs BAN: The warm-up match of the T20 World Cup 2024 saw Team India kick start their preparations ahead of their tournament opener against Ireland on June 5 as they took on Bangladesh in New York. Indian star batter Virat Kohli was rested as told by skipper Rohit Sharma while Shivam Dube made his World Cup debut on the day.

Rishabh Pant's Fifty Guides Team IND To 182/5 vs BAN

Opting to bat first, Team India openers Rohit Sharma and Sanju Samson gave the team a decent start with Rohit Sharma scoring 23 runs on the day. Sanju Samson failed to impress on the day as he was sent back to the pavilion on just 1 run courtesy of a Shoriful Islam delivery.

While Suryakumar Yadav also contributed with a well-made 31, Shivam Dube failed to perform at his best as he saw himself getting dismissed at just a 16-ball 14 on the day.

However, it was Rishabh pant's brilliant 32-ball fifty which steered Team India to 182/5 in their 20 overs. Hardik Pandya also looked in his prime form, scoring a swashbuckling 40 runs in the end.
