Jaiswal, scoring 104 runs off 133 balls before retiring hurt, showcased his exceptional talent once again with his second century of the series. Shubman Gill also played well, making 65 runs off 120 balls, showing great control. India ended the day at 196 for 2 in 51 overs. Jaiswal had to stop playing due to back spasms.
The Jaiswal-Gill partnership was impressive, adding 155 runs quickly. Jaiswal played aggressively, hitting nine fours and five sixes, including an excellent pull shot off Jimmy Anderson. India's lead increased to 322 runs by stumps, thanks to a superb comeback by the Indian bowlers. They took the last five England wickets for just 29 runs, dismissing them for 319.

A pivotal moment came when Joe Root attempted a risky reverse ramp shot off Jasprit Bumrah, which Jaiswal caught with incredible reflexes, turning the momentum in India's favor.
Rohit Sharma's captaincy was excellent, evidenced by his strategic adjustments, like positioning Jasprit Bumrah at long-on to dismiss Ben Stokes off Ravindra Jadeja (2/51).
Looking ahead to Sunday, India aims to extend their lead to at least 425, if not 450, and have around 125 overs to bowl out England. With Ashwin unavailable, they'll need more overs as a safety net on a pitch still favorable to batting.
