On the other hand, CSK, known for their well-rounded squad, appear formidable yet again. While much attention is on MS Dhoni potentially playing his final season, the addition of the highly talented Rachin Ravindra adds depth to the CSK lineup.

With both teams consisting of world class players in the team, the result of the encounter can't easily be deduced. However, Chennai's impeccable record at Chepauk speaks otherwise. CSK have a 7-1 record in their favour when facing the Royal Challengers Bengaluru at their stadium. In fact, RCB have never won a game at Chepauk since 2008.
