MI Bowlers Limit SRH To 173/8

Put to bat first, SRH openers Abhishek Sharma and Travis Head gave their side a decent start in the powerplay. While Abhishek was a mere spectator in the beginning, his opening partner Travis Head displayed some power hitting on the night with a 30-ball 48.

However, what followed was a SRH batting order meltdown as MI bowlers featuring spinner Piyush Chawla took wickets at regular intervals which saw the score drop down to 96/5 at 12.1 overs.

Skipper Hardik Pandya starred on the night for the hosts as he finished with impressive figures of 3/31 in his 4 overs against the SunRisers. It was an important spell for the team and Hardik himself as his bowling was being put under the microscope lately.
