Ravindra Jadeja stepped into bat when CSK was struggling at 13.4 overs. With Rahane's dismissal in the 15th over, CSK looked to Jadeja to provide the impetus needed to set a competitive total.

Jadeja and Mitchell Marsh made efforts to propel CSK to a formidable score but ultimately settled for 165/5 in their allotted 20 overs.

SRH benefits from fiery start

In reply, SunRisers looked quite comfortable chasing the modest total with opener Abhishek Sharma giving the hosts a blistering start with a 12-ball 37.

Abhishek's opening partner Travis Head also contributed with a well-made 31 but got out in the 10th over. Aiden Markram's 35-ball 50 also took the SunRisers to 132/3 within 14 overs. With SRH losing both set batters, their most in-form batter Heinrich Klaasen stepped in to finish things off for Hyderabad.

Klaasen and Nitish Reddy took the team home quite comfortably in what is proving to be a strong home display in the tournament for the Men in Orange.
