Match 19 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2024) witnessed Indian star batter Virat Kohli reach yet another historic milestone in the IPL. Having represented Royal Challengers Bengaluru since the very beginning, the former skipper completed an impressive feat during his match against the Rajasthan Royals on April 6.

Virat Kohli: 7500* runs

Shikhar Dhawan: 6755 runs

David Warner: 6545 runs

Virat Kohli has now reached 7500 runs in the IPL, becoming the first batter ever to achieve the feat in IPL history. Virat was just 34 runs short of the huge milestone and completed in the 7th over itself. Both RCB openers including Faf du Plessis didn't give away their wicket in the powerplay against an RR side which is known to take wickets early on in the game.

Virat has started the IPL 2024 season in good form and has been the only consistent batter for Royal Challengers Bengaluru so far in the season. Having won only a single game before the encounter with RR, they would be hoping to produce an upset at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium to register their 2nd win in the league and climb up the rankings.
