Indian shooting star Manu Bhaker is facing criticism for flaunting her Olympic bronze medals at public shows. The controversy stemmed after she posted photographs with proud displays of her medals to a sea of paparazzi.

The 22-year-old shooter took to social media to bring out their stellar achievements and respond to the criticism. She posted a picture featuring an amazing collage of her medals and accolades from her remarkable career.

Manu Bhaker's cabinetry is stashed full of gold medals, covering her dominance in the major events of the ISSF Shooting World Cup, World Championship, Asian Games, and Commonwealth Games. This youngster devoted to her sport with the innate quality for it only makes India proud time and again on the global stage.

“I was 14 when I started my journey in shooting. Never had I imagined I would reach this far. She became India's first woman shooter to medal in the Olympics - Bhaker won her first Olympic medal, a bronze, in the women's 10m air pistol. And if that was not enough, she, along with Sarabjot Singh, went on to make history for India as well when they won India's first-ever team medal in shooting as they earned a bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team event.

This achievement also made Bhaker the first athlete from free India to win two medals within the same edition of the Olympics. Only Norman Pritchard had obtained two medals, of different colours, at the Paris 1900 Games.
