Due to threats from pro-ISIS groups, security will involve SWAT teams with specialized snipers, plainclothes officers inside the stadium, and continuous 24-hour monitoring of the four drop-in pitches by the narcotics division. In preparation for the tournament, the Nassau police have collaborated with the FBI, the Department of Homeland Security, the NYPD, and other agencies.

On match days, the adjacent parkland will be closed to prevent potential drone attacks. Fans will undergo thorough searches and airport-style security screening before entering the stadium. Bruce Blakeman, the Nassau County executive, stated that security would be comparable to the Super Bowl but even more stringent.
