On This Day, September 28: The "Invincible" Indian side knocked down the Bangla Tigers to win the 2018 edition of the Asia Cup in Dubai. Kedar Jadhav played a perfect all-round role in India's seventh Asia Cup. He took crucial wickets and batted at No. 7 to enable his side chase the required runs off the last ball of the innings. For some time, Jadhav even left the field after a hamstring injury, but returned just in time to make the difference.
On the other hand, the Bangladesh wicketkeeper and opener in the form of Liton Das marked a bright spot after notching his maiden ODI century. Along with this, Liton Das developed a majestic 120-run stand with 'make-shift' opener Mehidy Hasan.
