Paris Olympics 2024: Swapnil Kusale To Shoot For Medal, Litmus Test For Men's Hockey; Check Out The Day 6 Schedule

Today is the big day for India at Paris Olympics 2024. The Indian athletes have the opportunity to win the third medal at these Games. Strong performances are quite expected in badminton, athletics, hockey, and shooting.

Athletics events of India start today. In the men's 20-km race walk, Akashdeep Singh, Paramjeet Singh, and Vikas Singh will participate at 11 AM. If they move to the next round, then they may win the third medal for India in the medal match. Priyanka Goswami will participate at 12:50 PM, and much is expected from her performance in the women's event.

Indian shooter Swapnil Kusale made it to the men's 50m 3P final after finishing seventh in the qualification round.

In his maiden Olympics, Kusale scored 590-38x to finish seventh. Final match will be played at 1 PM on Thursday, August 1. There may be a fair chance that Swapnil Kusale may win a medal for India at the Paris Olympics 2024.

Top Indian badminton players Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will be in action in the men's doubles quarterfinals today. PV Sindhu will face off against China's HE Bing Jiao in the Women's Singles Round of 16.

Most of the Paris Olympics 2024 matches are going to start post 12:00 PM. PV Sindhu's match against China's HE Bing Jiao is slated for 10:00 PM, and men's badminton doubles matches will start post 4:00 PM.
