Ralf Schumacher Opens Up: Cherished Memories Of Michael And Embracing New Beginnings

Ralf Schumacher has spoken of the yearning for brother Michael, reminiscing of the glory days in Formula One. The two brothers Schumacher were a phenomenon in their own right as the brothers formed the first pair of brothers to finish winners of an F1 race and even managed to finish 1st and 2nd on the podium in the very same event. However, life suddenly took a tragic turn with Michael involved in a terrible skiing accident in the French Alps, bringing on long years of recovery that the family has collectively opted to keep private.

Just recently, Michael made a public shock appearance at his daughter's wedding, marking his first public outing since the accident.

On being asked how life is after the accident in an interview with German magazine Bunte, Ralf put forth his feelings and recalled their early racing days. "Unfortunately, sometimes life isn't fair. We have to accept it. When I see his children, Gina-Maria and Mick, my heart smiles. If anyone in the family seeks my advice, I'm here for them, but they are finding their paths."

Ralf adds, "I miss the old Michael. Life's not always fair. Michael was lucky most of his life but then came that unfortunate accident. He was more than my brother. He was my coach and mentor. He taught me everything regarding kart racing.".

As part of a very important personal development, Ralf has recently become open to being gay, which leads to a public confrontation with his ex-wife Cora. The couple divorced in 2015 and things had been tense since Ralf revealed that he was in a relationship with French business manager Etienne. Cora said medios: "It was like getting stabbed in the heart." She added: "All these years I have been used.".

Taking selfies in his sinkhole neighbor's backyard, Ralf nevertheless insisted Cora was in the know about his affair with Etienne, and forwarded some screenshots of what he said was a WhatsApp conversation she had with his partner last year -- appearing to congratulate him on his new relationship.

Ralf has put the home he and Cora once shared up for sale under new management. According to Daily Mail, the property is listed for €4.85 million, approximately £4.07 million, via Marlies Muhr Real Estate.

He clings to the memories of his brother, even as he deepens into his truth.
