Four members of the T20 World Cup-winning team—Rohit Sharma, Shivam Dube, Yashasvi Jaiswal, and Suryakumar Yadav—were honored at the Maharashtra Vidhan Bhavan in Mumbai on Friday. Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had also felicitated the players at his residence, presenting them with a shawl and an idol of Lord Ganesha.

Both Rohit and Surya spoke in Marathi during the ceremony. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar remarked on Rohit Sharma's reaction, noting that the entire country would have been disappointed if Suryakumar hadn't made the catch in the final over.
