Their qualification was confirmed after a convincing 8-wicket victory over Laura Delany’s Ireland in the semi-final of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier at the Zayed Cricket Stadium in Abu Dhabi. Opting to bowl first, Scotland's bowlers put up a stellar performance, restricting Ireland to 110 for 9.
