WATCH: Team India Enjoys Beach Volleyball In Barbados Before Super 8 Clash

The Indian team arrived in Barbados ahead of their first Super 8s match against Afghanistan on Thursday, June 20. After their final group-stage match against Canada was cancelled, team India enjoyed some downtime playing beach volleyball on the beautiful beaches of Barbados. A video posted by the Board of Control for Cricket in India on social media showed Virat Kohli, Rinku Singh, and Arshdeep Singh having fun.

Team India All Set For T20 World Cup Super 8 Stage

India qualified for the Super 8 stages along with the United States from Group A, winning matches against Ireland, Pakistan, and the USA, while their match against Canada was washed out. The match in Barbados will be India's first in the Caribbean islands in this tournament.

Jasprit Bumrah has been India's standout performer with excellent bowling performances. Axar Patel has also impressed with both bat and ball, and Arshdeep Singh has demonstrated his skill with both the new and old ball. While India's batting remains a concern, this could be attributed to the challenging pitch conditions in New York.

India are set to start their Super 8 stage by taking on Rashid Khan's Afghanistan on 20th June. Afterward, they will head to Antigua to face Bangladesh two days later, before concluding the Super 8 stage with an exciting clash against Australia in St. Lucia on June 24. All of India's matches are scheduled to start at 8 PM IST.
