Team India Set To Meet PM Modi Before Open Bus Parade In Mumbai, Know Full Schedule
The T20 World Cup champions, Team India, are set to return home from Barbados early on June 4. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has arranged a chartered flight for both the team and Indian journalists who were stranded in Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl. They are scheduled to arrive in New Delhi early in the morning. The Indian team has a busy day ahead on Thursday, starting with a meeting with PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi, followed by a flight to Mumbai for celebratory events.

Team India Full Schedule After Touchdown
Thursday will be packed with events for the world champions, including an open bus parade near the Wankhede Stadium and a small ceremony at the stadium itself. The team is expected to be greeted by a large fanbase in both New Delhi and Mumbai, eagerly awaiting a World Cup victory since 2011.
Here's the full schedule for Team India after their arrival:
- The flight from Barbados lands around 6 AM on June 4.
- The team leaves for PM Modi's residence at 9:30 AM.
- After the meeting, they take a chartered flight to Mumbai.
- Drive from Mumbai airport to Wankhede Stadium.
- A 1 km long bus parade to Wankhede Stadium.
- A small presentation at Wankhede where the World Cup trophy will be handed over by Rohit Sharma to BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
- The team disperses from Wankhede in the evening.
Following their title win, India was unable to leave Barbados due to Hurricane Beryl, which escalated to a category 5 storm. The BCCI arranged a chartered flight to evacuate the team and journalists from the crisis. An Air India Boeing 777 was sent to directly bring the team home.
India's victory in the thrilling encounter in Barbados ended their 11-year ICC Trophy drought. The Men in Blue last secured a major title in 2013 by winning the Champions Trophy in England under Dhoni’s leadership and had lost five finals since then.
