Uttarakhand Premier League 2024: The final match of the women's category in the Uttarakhand Premier League was held on Saturday evening between Mussoorie Thunders and Nainital SG Pipers, in which Mussoorie Thunders defeated Nainital SG Pipers by 3 wickets in a thrilling match. With this win, Mussoorie Thunders won the women's category title of Uttarakhand Premier League-2024. In this match, Mussoorie Thunders batsman Prema Rawat gave a brilliant performance.

How Was The Result Of The Match 

After winning the toss in the match, Mussoorie Thunders decided to field first. Nainital SG Pipers started slowly and scored 22 runs without losing a wicket in the first 5 overs. After this, the team scored 118 runs by losing 8 wickets in 20 overs, thanks to Manisha Pradhan's 13, Megha Saini's 15, Prema Rawat's 15, Kanchan Parihar's 20 and Kanak Taparnia's 29 runs. Rudra Sharma was the most successful bowler from Mussoorie Thunders, who took 3 wickets for 20 runs. After this, Mussoorie Thunders, who came to chase the target, made a good comeback after a bad start. The team won the match with the contribution of Prema Rawat's 32, Nandini Kashyap's 28, Anjali Goswami's 25, Reena Jindal's 10 runs.

The final match played between the two teams was very exciting. Mussoorie Thunders needed 11 runs to win in the last two overs. Meanwhile, Nainital SG Pipers bowler Gunjan Bhandari bowled three wide balls. Mussoorie Thunders needed only 2 runs to win in the last over. Sakshi Joshi was run out on the first ball. Ankita Dhami scored the winning run on the second ball of the over and made the team champion.
