Richard Ngarava came to bowl the 18th over. On the first ball, Tucker took a single and on the next delivery, McBrine played a fine shot towards cover. The Zimbabwean fielder made a great effort to stop the boundary and succeeded in preventing the ball from crossing the boundary line, but in the process, he himself went past the hoardings. By the time the fielder returned, collected the ball, and threw it back to the wicketkeeper, McBrine and Tucker had managed to run five runs.
