What Is The Cut-Off Time For the IND vs SA Final?

Reports indicate that the weather is currently clear, but there is a 60% chance of rain during the match in Bridgetown, Barbados. A buffer time of about 60 minutes or one hour is kept before the match starts. After this buffer period, overs will start to get reduced. If the match begins at 9:00 PM IST, the full 40-over game can be played. However, beyond this point, overs might start getting cut. We might see a 10-over match. The latest possible start time for the game is 11:10 PM IST. If the game hasn't started by then, it will be moved to the reserve day.

An important point to note is that there is an additional 190 minutes allocated for the match on both Saturday and Sunday (the reserve day). This provides ample time to complete the game. However, if the weather does not allow the game to be played, or it is canceled due to bad weather, both teams will be declared joint winners.

Historically, India has had the upper hand in T20 International matches against South Africa. Out of 26 matches played, India has won 14, while South Africa has won 11, and one match ended without a result. Recently, India played against Afghanistan in Barbados. In the Super 8 match held on June 20, India batted first and scored 181 runs, and Afghanistan could only score 134 in response. Hence, the Indian team has experience playing on this pitch, which is expected to be favorable for the batter.
