Apple Intelligence will bring in a system-wide suite of features that may replace the need to use individual generative AI applications. Apple Intelligence will feature across iOS 18, iPadOS 18 and macOS Sequoia. This feature will be supported on Apple iPhones, iPads, and Macs. This feature will be available on devices powered by the A17 Pro chipset, as well as M-series chipsets.

This feature will allow users to use generative AI-powered writing tools. This will allow them to rewrite, proofread, and even summarise text across Apple’s own and third-party apps.
Priority Messages and Smart Reply
This is the feature for those who use the Mail app. Priority Messages is a new section at the top of your inbox, which will use AI to understand and show you the most important and urgent emails first. The feature will also summarise the email for users.
Priority Notifications
Apple Intelligence will also be able to understand users' iPhone notifications and sort out the most important ones.
Image Playground And Image Wand
Apple Intelligence will also bring several image-creation features. This includes Image Playground which will allow users to create images using text prompts and suggestions. Meanwhile, iPad users having an Apple Pencil will get the Image Wand. This will allow them to turn rough sketches into images.
Recording, Transcribing And Summarisation
Apple Intelligence will bring several audio-related features. These include the ability to record audio as well as transcribe and summarise it instantly.
Genmoji
Apple Intelligence allows users to power Genmoji, generative AI-powered images created by users. The feature is similar to Memoji, but for emojis, and backed by generative AI.
AI Photo Search, Clean Up And Memories
This feature will allow you to look for photos or videos by simply entering terms. For example, terms like “Maya skateboarding in a tie-dye shirt” can be used to look for photos and videos.
Apple Intelligence: Storage Requirements
According to Apple, This feature will take 4GB storage on the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, and all iPhone 16 models. It will take the same storage space on iPad and Mac models with M1 and later.
