Hefty Blow To Airtel Customers; Company Increases Prices Of Recharge Plans

Airtel has delivered a hefty blow to its customers by hiking the prices of its recharge plans. 4G plans, priced at ₹118 and ₹289, have been increased. Now, for the ₹118 plan, you'll have to pay ₹129, and for the ₹289 plan, you'll need to shell out ₹329. These recharge plans are now live on the Airtel website and mobile app.

According to reports, Airtel aims to increase its Average Revenue Per User (ARPU) to enhance its average revenue. To achieve better returns, Airtel is working on its plans. As part of this strategy, Airtel has increased the prices of its two plans.

Airtel Rs 329 plan

This plan has a validity of 35 days. Users will be offered 4 gigabytes of data in this plan, along with unlimited calling and 300 SMS. Under the Airtel Thanks benefit, users will receive a free subscription to Apollo 24/7. Additionally, they will also receive subscriptions to Hello Tune and Wynk Music. In this plan, a total of 12GB of data is offered. Apart from this, there are no benefits such as calling and messaging facilities included in this plan.

Note: There have been ongoing reports of Airtel gradually increasing the prices of recharge plans for a long time. However, the company has increased the prices of recharge plans gradually rather than all at once.
