Reliance Jio Announces Tariff Increase Effective July 3, Unveils New Unlimited 5G Data Plans. Get the Details!

On Thursday, Reliance Jio announced plans to raise its mobile service rates starting July 3rd. The company has increased mobile service rates across nearly all plans, marking Jio's first rate hike in approximately two and a half years.

Jio is increasing the price of the lowest recharge to ₹19, which represents a 27% increase from the previous ₹15 for a 1 GB data add-on pack.

Customers will now pay ₹449 for the 75 GB postpaid data plan, up from ₹399. Furthermore, Jio has raised the price of the popular ₹666 unlimited plan with 84-day validity to ₹799, representing a hike of approximately 20%.

In announcing the new plans, Jio stated that it continues to uphold its promise of offering the highest-quality service at globally competitive prices.

Jio stated that with its True 5G rollout, the fastest-ever of this scale globally, India now leads in 5G technology.
