Vi Announces Tariff Hikes Following Jio And Airtel: Complete Details Inside

Reliance Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone Idea have announced tariff hikes for prepaid and postpaid plans within two days, aiming to offer comprehensive benefits to users with the new prices and plans.

One day after Reliance Jio and Airtel increased the prices of their prepaid and postpaid plans, Vodafone Idea also announced a tariff hike. The new prices for Airtel and Reliance Jio plans will be effective from July 3, while Vodafone's price increase will start on July 4.

True to its philosophy of supporting entry-level users and progressively linking higher prices to increased usage, changes in entry-level plans are minimal," Vi stated. They also announced plans for significant investments in the coming quarters to enhance the 4G experience and launch 5G services.

New Prepaid Plans

Unlimited Voice Calling Plan-

For those looking for unlimited voice calling, the new pricing for the first plan is Rs 199, an increase from the previous Rs 179. This plan includes a 28-day validity, 2GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS.

The second plan in this category is now priced at Rs 509, up from Rs 459, offering an 84-day validity, 6GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS. For long-term users, the annual plan has increased to Rs 1999 from Rs 1799, providing 24GB of data, unlimited calling, and 300 SMS over 365 days.

Daily Data Plan-

If you need daily data, the new plans have you covered. The basic daily data plan is now priced at Rs 299, up from Rs 269, offering 1GB of data per day, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for 28 days. For those needing more, the Rs 349 plan, previously Rs 299, provides 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day, also for 28 days.

There's a monthly option, the Rs 379 plan, previously Rs 319, offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day for one month. For a longer duration, the 56-day plans include Rs 579, increased from Rs 479, providing 1.5GB of data per day, and Rs 649, up from Rs 539, offering 2GB of data per day.

Both plans include unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day as additional benefits.

Even longer durations, the 84-day plans now cost Rs 859, previously Rs 719, offering 1.5GB of data per day, and Rs 979, previously Rs 839, providing 2GB of data per day. Both plans include unlimited data from 12 am to 6 am, weekend data rollover, Data Delight, unlimited calling, and 100 SMS per day. The annual plan is now Rs 3499, up from Rs 2899, and provides 1.5GB of data per day with all the same additional benefits.

Data Add On-

For data add-ons, the plans are simple. The 1-day data add-on now costs Rs 22, up from Rs 19, and offers 1GB of data. For a 3-day period, the new plan costs Rs 48, increased from Rs 39, and provides 6GB of data.

Individual Plans-

The Individual Plan now costs Rs 451, up from Rs 401, and offers 50GB of data with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data, and 3000 SMS. Additionally, users can select one complimentary benefit from five options: Disney Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.

The Individual Plan now costs Rs 551, up from Rs 501, and provides 90GB of data with up to 200GB rollover, unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data, and 3000 SMS. Users can select two complimentary benefits from eight options: Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner subscriptions for 6 months, Disney Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.

Family Plans-

The Family 2 Line Plan now costs Rs 701, up from Rs 601, and includes 70GB of data for the primary line and 40GB for the secondary line, with up to 200GB data rollover. The plan also offers unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data for the primary line, and 3000 SMS. The primary line user can choose two complimentary benefits from six options: Amazon Prime subscription for 6 months, Disney Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.

The Family 4 Line Plan now costs Rs 1201, up from Rs 1001. It offers 140GB of data for the primary line and 40GB for each secondary line, with up to 200GB data rollover, unlimited voice calls, unlimited night data for the primary line, and 3000 SMS.

The primary line user can select two complimentary benefits from eight options: Amazon Prime, Swiggy One, EazyDiner subscriptions for 6 months, Disney Hotstar, Sony LIV, Sun NXT, EaseMyTrip discount coupons, or Norton Mobile Security for 12 months.
