A number of its Music users have already been granted access to the song search feature, which includes a dedicated button within the app. This feature appears to be available on both Android and iOS versions of the app. However, since not all users have received the update, it suggests that a broader rollout of the feature has not yet commenced.

If you've received the feature, you'll notice a new 'Song' icon positioned next to the existing 'Voice' search button adjacent to the search bar. While the 'Voice' search operates as the typical speech-to-text search function, the newly introduced 'Song' search button enables users to locate a song by either singing or humming it into the mic or by playing it on another device. The latter function essentially allows users to utilize YouTube Music similar to Shazam, enabling them to identify songs playing in their vicinity.
