This train will be the substitute for DTC buses which the commuters use between two distant terminals for now. Reports suggest that the operator is likely to get bids for this in October and November. The winning bidder will be decided by the cost quoted by different parties and other factors.

What are Air Trains?

Air Trains are globally free to use for passengers to ensure seamless transit between the terminals. It is basically a monorail system that runs between the terminals globally across several International Airports in order to ensure smooth and hassle-free services to commuters. Passengers use this connection to travel from one terminal to another especially when they have transit flights. AirTrain arrives and departs within a short span of time at the designated stations.
