Faridabad:  A video of a woman brutally beating her 11-year-old son in Faridabad is going viral. She sits next to his son and sometimes beats him and sometimes abuses him. The video is about a doctor living in the Surajkund area. The husband shared the video on social media.

Additionally, the child's father complained to the police regarding his wife's cruel behavior. He alleges that if he tries to stop his wife from such actions, she threatens to consume poison herself and also give it to the child. The child victim also filed a complaint against his mother with the Child Protection Commission.

Following the orders of the CWC, the Surajkund police station registered a case of cruelty against the child's mother. After the case was registered, the woman took her son and went to her mother's place. The child has now provided his statement to the CWC, alleging that his father is addicted to drugs. The investigation will uncover who is pressuring the child to make such statements.

A mother is possessive about her son

In the complaint to the police, the father stated that he married a Delhi-based doctor 17 years ago. He alleges that his wife became increasingly possessive towards their son as he grew up, leading to arguments and physical violence, for which he holds her responsible.

Surajkund police station SHO Shamsher Singh stated that they haven't taken the child's statement yet due to election duty. Further measures will be taken shortly after the child applies.
