A local user posted a tip on the subreddit claiming that opting for COD doesn't just ensure faster deliveries but also offers a 'premium experience' without any extra cost, which has allegedly ignited a very lively debate among users regarding the benefits of COD when ordering food online.
COD May Give Your Order Priority
According to one Reddit user, selecting COD might get your order done better, even above premium subscribers. The delivery experience, the user explained, remains the same there's no difference in the delivery experience; what changes is when the order arrives, you can simply pay through UPI apps, wallets, or saved cards within the app. "But you never again have to worry about being Zomato's starving hostage," the Redditor quipped, implying that COD reduces the risk of late or incorrect deliveries.
Other than speed delivery, the Redditor mentioned that COD can also better hook consumers through customer support access. According to their statement, choosing COD makes it more possible to connect to a human representative if something goes wrong or delays occur with the order, lessening reliance on chatbots, which might be frustrating when used by customers.
