Jharkhand Techie Explains How He Redeemed Points Worth Rs 27.5 Lakh For His JW Marriott Stay
A software engineer named Anirban Chowdhury, hailing from Jharkhand recently shared a post about his luxury five-night stay at JW Marriott in Masai Mara, Kenya. The viral post has taken the internet by storm after the Jharkhand Techie revealed that the entire trip cost him Rs 27.5 lakh but he didn't spend a single rupee.
In an X post, he wrote, "Just ticked off a bucket list experience at one of the most exclusive and expensive properties of JW Marriot."
Chowdhury's X post has been trending ever since the post was shared, leaving users stunned at the amount he spent on his vacation. He has given a thorough description in many of his posts on X about the cost, amenities, and other facilities at Marriott Masai Mara.

Techie Reveals Details
Jharkhand Techie mentioned that he booked JW Marriott Masai Mara using 106,000 Marriot Bonvoy points per night for two people. He further stated that unless someone opts for paid activities, the cost will be zero.
Chowdhury explained that his lavish stay was nothing but because he used a total of 424,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. He revealed in his post, "I earned those Marriott Bonvoy points by transferring 3.26L Amex points. Amex allows you to transfer points to Marriott at a 1:1 ratio. Plus, during their frequent campaigns, you get a 30% bonus. That's how I got the 4.24L Marriott Bonvoy points."
