Man's Dangerous Car Stunts on Mumbai Roads Captured in Viral Video, Police Take Action

Mumbai traffic police are investigating a viral video of a man performing a dangerous stunt on a moving car. The video, shot in Mumbai, shows the man standing on the roof of a Maruti Swift with a Rajasthan number plate.

Authorities were alerted to the video after it gained widespread attention on social media. The Mumbai Traffic Police responded on their social media platform by tagging the Navi Mumbai Police, suggesting that the incident may have taken place in the jurisdiction of Navi Mumbai.

In the related footage, a man wearing a colorful T-shirt stands on the roof of a white Swift, which appears to be driven without anyone behind the wheel. This reckless act shows complete disregard for safety and endangers not only the person on the roof but also everyone on the road.

The video gained support when a user named Siya uploaded it to the Twitter-like platform. Written in Hindi, the caption playfully hinted that the police would upload a 'Part 2' video, hinting at the consequences of the stunt.

The video went viral and garnered nearly 200,000 views. Social media users widely shared and commented on the footage, pointing out the dangers of the stunt.

The user commented, 'Suspend his driving license to prevent him from endangering other people's lives. Such individuals pose a threat to everyone on the road.'

'Why only Challan? Such cars should be impounded. The driver should be jailed for endangering his life and others,'  wrote another user.

'I do not agree! The real crime is the bad graphics on the car,' commented a third user.

The Mumbai Traffic Police will likely use the recorded data to identify the car's owner and take legal action. The exact charges will depend on the investigation's outcome but could include penalties for dangerous driving, driving without a license (if applicable), and endangering public safety.
