On a positive note, the man revealed no regret in losing his job. He wrote on Reddit, "My boss tried to shift me to another project and wanted me to put 50% of my time doing that. But when I asked to meet him to discuss how I was going to fit 20 hours in my tight schedule, he said another worker is capable of managing projects like this."

According to the post, the man said to his boss that the employee in question takes meetings until 2 am and makes triple his salary.

He further noted, "After I disagreed with my boss, he gave me a call a few days later and once I met the HR, I knew it was over for me. It felt particularly greedy since my team and I broke record revenue this year and it was mostly due to the changes I made."

However, the man said he didn't feel upset about the firing as it felt like a giant weight off his shoulders and now he is motivated to find a better role. "This role isn’t a good fit," he remarked.
