The widely circulated video footage captured a man in a heat argument with the petrol pump workers, holding up a bottle containing what appeared to be a clear liquid; he claimed that it was a sample of fuel dispensed into his vehicle's tank. He showed how the liquid separated into distinct layers, hence raising a lot of suspicions over its legitimacy.

The video went viral, raising anxiety among netizens, as people began to express apprehensions about the widespread adulteration. Demanding effective regulations and stiffer punishments for petrol pumps that indulge in such malpractices, the comments on social media started arriving.

Everyone should work hard and earn money through their efforts.'

Fuel Quality Control Concerns

While the video has created a lot of furor, clarity on the matter remains a distant thing. Verification from official sources is still lacking, and actually, fuelling isn't distinctly visible in the viral video clip.

The need for robust quality control mechanisms at petrol pumps has been underlined, authorities must probe this incident and ensure stricter measures for ensuring that customers get genuine fuel for money paid.

Such consumers must, therefore, be very cautious while filling petrol/diesel from any petrol pump, and they must immediately report any irregularity to the concerned authorities.
