Prayagraj: Woman Principal Pulled From Chair, Forced Out Of Office | WATCH

A disturbing video showing a contentious leadership change at Uttar Pradesh’s Bishop Johnson Girls School in Prayagraj has sparked widespread outrage on social media over how the school principal was treated by staff members.

The video allegedly shows the former principal being forcefully removed from her chair and a new principal being seated in her place.

The 2-minute and 20-second video, posted by a user X, has received 199.1K views on the platform. It has also angered many social media users who claim that schools should not condone such treatment.

In the video, a group of people, including the school’s chairman, entered the principal’s office and insisted that she leave her chair immediately. The former principal resisted being removed, but eventually, she was pulled out of her chair, and her phone was confiscated.

Then, those present applauded as the newly appointed principal sat in the chair.

"This is what happened at Bishop Johnson Girls School in Prayagraj. The principal's office door was broken into, the principal's chair was taken away forcefully, the principal was pushed out, and then the new principal was seated in the chair," the user described in the video.

The video angered many users who were upset about how the former school principal was treated. "Schools are now treated like businesses, and principals are being humiliated. This is the result of education being turned into a commodity," commented one user on the video.

Another user commented that people should question the motives, greed, and integrity that lead situations to this point, especially by those who are supposed to teach morality, ethics, values, and education.
