Shocking! King Cobra Rescued From Hyundai Car; Why Snakes Seek Shelter In Cars During Rain

Rainfall in Kota, Rajasthan, has worsened people's problems. After spotting crocodiles in homes and on roads, residents are now facing poisonous snakes. Rainwater is flooding the snakes' burrows, forcing them to seek safer places. In a frightening incident, Pankaj Vaishnav in Nayagaon, Kota, found a poisonous King Cobra hiding in his car.

When Pankaj got into his car, he saw a cobra near the steering wheel. He quickly called Govind Sharma, the Municipal Corporation's snake catcher. After a while, the cobra disappeared, making Pankaj believe it had left. Govind Sharma arrived at Pankaj's house and searched the car thoroughly but couldn't find the cobra.

Pankaj said that the snake reappeared in the car after some time. Taking a risk, he drove the car to the Srinathpuram Fire Station. There, Govind Sharma rescued a 4-foot black cobra from near the car's bonnet. Though Pankaj was frightened by the cobra, he felt relieved when it was safely removed from the car.

Govind Sharma explained that during the rainy season, snakes leave their water-filled burrows, forcing them to come out. The black cobra is highly poisonous. He urged people to be careful and immediately contact the control room if they see a cobra or any other snake. This incident highlights the need for extra caution during the rainy season, as snakes and other creatures seek shelter in nearby houses when water accumulates around them.
