Food delivery company Zomato received huge applause online after CEO Deepinder Goyal announced that thousands of their delivery partners had been trained to provide medical aid and assist in critical road emergencies.

In a post on X on June 13, Goyal said, "Yesterday in Mumbai, we broke the Guinness World Record for the largest first aid hour in a single location with 4,300 delivery partners. Over 30,000 @zomato delivery partners are now professionally trained to provide medical aid and assistance in critical roadside emergencies."

"Congratulations and many thanks to these crisis heroes of India,"ย  he added.

Zomato also shared X's post and said their emergency hero bags have a green plus sign.

'We hope you never use this Zomato service," Zomato captioned its post, adding that 30,000 of its delivery partners have been professionally trained to administer first aid and CPR in critical traffic situations. 'But we hope you never need it," Zomato said, thanking its delivery partners.
