Canadian Police Examines CCTV Footage: Will The Secret Of Murder Of Khalistani Terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar Be Revealed?

Police in Canada said they are looking into a gunshot that happened at a house in the South Surrey region overnight. The residence in question, according to the locals, belonged to a friend of Khalistan separatist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, who was assassinated in June. Surrey At 1:20 a.m. on Thursday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police said they got a complaint of gunfire at a residence close to the 2800 block of 154th Street, according to the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation CBC).

Diplomatic Dispute Between Canada And India

According to a representative of the British Columbia Gurdwara Parishad, Simranjeet Singh, a friend of Nijjar, was the owner of the residence in question. The June murder of Khalistani separatist Nijjar in Surrey resulted in a diplomatic dispute between India and Canada. According to Corporal Sarbjit Sangha, the event was further investigated by speaking with locals and closely examining CCTV evidence. He added that nobody had been hurt in the incident.

CBC News reports that there were numerous bullet holes seen at the residence in question and that the gunfire severely damaged an automobile in the neighborhood. Sangha would not confirm the number of shots that were fired at the residence. According to the police, this is a singular occurrence.

He continued, "The incident is being investigated which is still in the initial stage, hence the motive behind the firing is not yet known."

Spokesman for the British Columbia Gurdwara Parishad, Moninder Singh, stated that locals think the shooting may have been caused by Simranjit Singh's association with Nijjar. Following Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's allegations of the "possible" involvement of an Indian agent in Nijjar's June murder, relations between India and Canada deteriorated in September.

The shooting at Simranjeet's home, according to Moninder Singh, occurred after she helped plan a pro-Khalistan protest outside the Indian Consulate in Vancouver on January 26. Moninder stated that Simranjeet's six-year-old child might have died as a result of the "midnight attack". He said, "I think it is by the grace of God that people survived safely."
