Israel confirmed that Nasrallah was killed in airstrikes against Hezbollah headquarters in the southern suburbs of Beirut, known as Dahiyeh. According to the IDF, "Hassan Nasrallah will no longer be able to terrorize the world." The area targeted is known to be a stronghold for Hezbollah, with Nasrallah's command center located underground, hidden beneath residential buildings.
