S. Jaishankar held an All Party Meeting

When asked about possible foreign influence at an all-party meeting, External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar said it's too early to make any conclusions. "I briefed an all-party meeting in Parliament today about the ongoing developments in Bangladesh. I appreciate the unanimous support and understanding extended," Jaishankar posted on the social media platform X.

India Boosts Border Security With Bangladesh

As the situation changes, the Indian government has increased security along its border with Bangladesh due to concerns about possible violence spilling over. The Border Security Force (BSF) is on high alert, and all train services between the two countries have been suspended indefinitely.

After her resignation, Hasina, who fled to India, is reportedly in contact with Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval about the situation in Bangladesh. Indian officials are focused on helping Hasina settle in India, giving her time to recover and discuss her future plans.
