Presidential Elections 2024: Biden-Trump Clash Kicks Off In Pivotal State With Duelling Events

However, the Super Tuesday domination has almost set the stage for near certain rematch between the rivals again as they are holding duel events in the state which both parties consider pivotal to winning the polls in November.

As the campaigning for the upcoming presidential elections 2024 picked up on Saturday where the previous elections – 2020 were left off or we can say that it never actually ended. Four years ago, in Georgia, Donald Trump was close to finding ‘11,780 votes’ in order to overturn Democrat Joe Biden’s victory. However, the Super Tuesday domination has almost set the stage for near certain rematch between the rivals again as they are holding duel events in the state which both parties consider pivotal to winning the polls in November.

US representative Nikema Williams stated that the Georgia is a true battleground state now. She is an Atlanta Democrat who also holds the position of state party chairwoman.

Georgia was once a Republican stronghold but now the state is competitive that the neither of the party can describe the today’s divide. Commenting on the same, the Republican Governor Brian Kemp said that the state is 52-48. Notably, Kemp’s party controls the state.

At trump’s rally in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, over 3,000 individuals gathered at a venue on Saturday to listen to the former president's speech. At the event, attendees received signs displaying the picture of Laken Riley, a nursing student from Georgia, whose recent death has become a focal point in the ongoing immigration discussions in the United States. The accused perpetrator is a Venezuelan migrant who allegedly entered the country unlawfully and is believed to be responsible for her death last month.
