New Delhi: North Carolina Republican gubernatorial candidate Mark Robinson has faced criticism after assuming the denominated title of being a "Black Nazi," calling Martin Luther King Jr. the "colored scum of the white man's earth," and appreciating slavery in comments on a pornography website before his foray into politics. The investigation followed Robinson's connection with the offender 'minisoldr' who was seen making these offending remarks.

Lieutenant Governor Denied Allegations

North Carolina's Lieutenant Governor, Mark Robinson, denied the allegations, calling them "tabloid trash." He told CNN, "These are not my words, and they do not reflect who I am." The remarks, made between 2008 and 2012, were reportedly posted on a pornographic website.

Some of the most extreme comments linked to Mark Robinson, using the username 'minisoldr,' included statements endorsing the return of slavery and supporting Nazi ideology.

One post stated, "Slavery is not bad. Some people need to be slaves," while another said, "I'm a black NAZI!" Robinson also allegedly shared a post expressing his preference for Adolf Hitler over the leadership of the US during the Obama administration.

Robinson denied the allegations in a video posted on his X (formerly Twitter) account, saying the statements were not his. He also accused his Democratic opponent, Attorney General Josh Stein, of being behind the leak to CNN.
