Rajan Shahi, a renowned television producer recognized for shows like Anupamaa, believes that a shift to OTT is advantageous for a TV show if the storyline isn't too complex. He emphasizes that the decision hinges on the nature of the show, suggesting that if it's not suited for a long-term daily soap format but boasts a strong brand and popular names, transitioning to OTT can be strategic. Shahi cites the example of Anupamaa, highlighting it as a unique instance globally where an existing daily soap show was rebranded for the web, generating significant curiosity.

The show producer of Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai, Jamnadas Majethia, explains the significant disparity between television and OTT, deeming the show remarkably advanced for its era as people are feeling nostalgic by watching this on OTT.

Jinesh Shah, Head of Series at Roy Kapur Films, suggests that situational and episodic reality shows like Kapil's can easily shift to OTT due to their self-contained nature. He predicts the next trend will be longer-format fiction shows with higher production values and a definite conclusion, dropping daily on platforms, unlike current satellite soaps.
