This development follows an earlier notification that travel to and from Kempegowda International Airport in Bengaluru would become more expensive starting Monday.  The notification required commercial vehicles, including those operated by cab aggregators like Ola and Uber, to pay an entry fee of Rs 150 for up to seven minutes.

The charge would rise to Rs 300 if these vehicles exceeded the seven-minute limit. The new fee structure was stated to apply to both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of the airport.
