A biker lost his life in Bengaluru on Wednesday night after being chased and rammed by a car following an altercation, escalating into a fatal road rage incident. CCTV footage captured the car closely tailing the motorcycle at high speed on city streets before the collision occurred in the Vidyaranyapura area. The biker, who suffered severe injuries, succumbed shortly after the crash. The police have filed an FIR and arrested two individuals in connection with the incident, with further investigations ongoing.

Road Rage on the Rise in Bengaluru

This tragic incident comes on the heels of another road rage case where a biker violently attacked a couple’s car on a busy Bengaluru road. A viral video shows the enraged biker smashing their windscreen, despite their pleas that a baby was inside the vehicle. The altercation reportedly began after the car made a left turn without signaling, infuriating the biker.

In a fit of rage, the biker attempted to force open the car door, and after failing, he picked up a large stone, which an onlooker managed to take from him. He then broke off a windshield wiper and shattered the car’s glass, all while the couple and their baby screamed inside.

Police Response and Arrest

The Bengaluru City police quickly responded to the viral video, arresting the biker involved in the attack. An update from the Citizens Movement on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed that the police had taken the culprit into custody, with investigations still in progress. The rise in such incidents has sparked concern about increasing road rage in the city.
