Sanjoy Roy's Troubling History Of Abuse

Sanjoy Roy, 33, who joined the police as a civic volunteer in 2019, has been married four times and has a history of abusive behavior toward his wives, according to a police officer. Neighbors reported that his marriages were marred by violence, with his fourth wife filing a complaint of domestic abuse before their legal separation.

Despite the serious allegations, Roy's mother, Malati Roy, claimed her son is innocent and suggested that he is being framed. She highlighted his background as a trained boxer and his involvement in the National Cadet Corps (NCC) during his school years in Bhabanipur.
